Macramé Craft Workshop

Saturday, 11 May 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

£25

Join artist and sculptor Rachel Carter for a hands-on session of Macramé. Rachel has 11 years of experience in creating modern art-forms from traditional craft techniques, and is excited to share these skills with you. Visitors will produce 1 pot-holder (with pot) to take home, as well as learning the skills to make more themselves. All materials will be provided.

Throughout 2019, Nottingham Industrial Museum are bringing you a series of craft workshops which celebrate the home-industries of Nottingham, past and present. We’re covering a huge range of crafts, from centuries-old traditions to amazing new artisan techniques. See our events leaflet for the full schedule of workshops. We have designed these sessions as tasters for each craft technique so beginners are welcome.

Pre-booking is essential, so please email events@nottinghamindustrialmuseum.co.uk to book your place.

£25 per person, including admission to the museum. Payment will be taken on the day. Please note parking charges for Wollaton Park do apply.
