Whenever Nottingham Industrial Museum is open, we welcome families and work hard to make your visit enjoyable.
Make the most of our fun range of children’s activities, including colouring competitions, activity trails and badge making.
Activities take place in the Museum and are free (small charge to cover badge making and craft activity materials). With our ‘Kids go FREE’ policy, our children’s activities make the museum an ideal destination any weekend, whether you are going stir-crazy at the end of the school holidays or it’s pouring down with rain.
As the museum is usually quieter on our non-working days, they are an ideal time for you to explore our displays of local industrial heritage. Exhibits include lace making, telecommunications, printing, mining, motorcycles, bicycle making, a model railway and much more.
Don’t forget to ask one of our volunteers for a family tour.
If the weather is nice, why not bring a picnic and take a stroll around the park? You can feed the birds on the lake, admire the majestic deer and take your photo at Wayne Manor from the Batman film.
Our activities are suitable for children of all ages.
Normal museum entry charges apply for adults and concessions.
